We want everybody to enjoy their visit to Sam's Lakes so we ask that you always observe our rules and be polite and considerate to other guests. If you have any doubts or concerns, please speak to a member of the Sam's Lakes team who will be happy to help.

• All anglers must be in possession of a current valid EA licence.

• All vehicles must be parked in the car parks.

• A 5mph speed limit is in force on the entire site, please do not exceed it.

• Please respect other anglers.

• An adult must accompany children under 16 years old.

• No nut baits to be used.

• Barbless hooks must be used.

• Non-fishing guests are limited to one per angler.

• 24 hour toilet facilities are provided for anglers, please use them.

• Alcohol is to be used sensibly and in moderation. Any bad behaviour caused by its abuse, will result in the offender being permanently excluded.

• No fires or unsupported BBQs. No continuously burning lights at night.

• No loud radios or televisions. Please set mobile ringtones to low.

• No dogs off leads near fishermen.

• No wading, swimming or walking on ice.

• No keepnets unless on authorised matches.

• A net dip tank is provided, please use it for nets, slings and unhooking mats.

• Carp may only be retained in carp nets. All other fish must be kept in a separate net.

• Please do not tumble fish in the keepnets when weighing in.

• All carp anglers must be in possession of a suitable landing net and unhooking mat.

• No rods to be left unattended.

• Please place all litter and unused bait in the bins provided.

• The management accepts no responsibility for personal injury, death, loss or damage to vehicles or equipment howsoever caused. 

Any subject not covered by these rules is at the discretion of the management.
